Eco- Activewear

Olive and I have been practising yoga for a couple of years now and have become completely obsessed. There is nothing better than the relaxing feeling after a evening yoga class particularly on a busy working day. You are then almost guaranteed to have the most amazing night sleep too afterwards, waking up in the morning feeling energised and refreshed ready for the day ahead. As we continue on our quest to live as sustainably and ethically as possible we have been searching high and low for sustainable yoga wear and have come across some pretty fabulous eco- activewear brands that we just had to share with you guys

Adrenna is an london based active wear brand whose mission is to tackle mass production and the fast fashion industry head on. Every piece of from Adrenna is made to order in their studio to minimise waste. There is a 14-21 day turnaround on each garment however you can choose the exact style and colours to suit your style. Their goal is to only produce what is needed which we think is pretty admirable. Olive and I love this cross discipline sports bra as you can customise the strap fixtures and colours.

Star seeds is a feel good yoga, fitness and leisure gear brand that only use super soft and sustainable fabrics when producing their products. From organic cotton to bamboo blends, even the clothing tags are made from bamboo tape and the handbags in recycled paper. Amazingly Starseeds even produces a pair of leggings that is actually created from wasted coffee grounds. This recycled polyester fabric is then suitable for running, yoga and pilates.

Another one of our favourites is U.K based brand Asuno where every item bought supports one of their three chosen charities. Each purchase provides a specific action from helping to alleviate hunger to providing access to clean water. “Doing good and feeling good” were the two main motivators for launching the brand explains the oh so inspirational founder. Depending on which colour you chose these super comfy yoga leggings support a whole range of worthwhile charities.

Davy J

Davy J creates super stylish swimwear made from 100% regenerated nylon yarn produced from ocean waste particularly old fishing nets. There is an incredible 640,000 tons of fishing nets left in the ocean each year and with every ton collected there can be enough regenerated nylon yarn produced to create more than 10,000 swimsuits. Each swimsuit is designed to last, with extra details such as hidden rubber edging and cross back designs to ensure this swimsuit can keep up with you in all conditions. We personally love this fab bright red swim costume, perfect for the days on the water.

Yoga Democracy

Made and designed in the US, these bold and colourful yoga leggings are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles which we love. There are so many bold and striking designs to choose from including these fab festival denim pair. Made from techno fabric thats breathable and sweat wicking to keep your skin cool during yoga class.
