Buying for the home is definitely become one of my favourite things to do, I cannot resist another scented candle or a great coffee table book. I also really enjoying placing pieces together as ‘families’ and building up little stories whether its through colour or just a general mood. I am currently obsessing over all things Scandi, copper highlights and cute cactuses.
A recent addition to my coffee table books is ‘The Little Book of Lykke‘ the next chapter of the Hygge collection that focusses on happiness and how the key to happiness can actually be found all around the globe. It is a super sweet book that is filled with stories and tips from the very happiest corners of our planet.
In my eyes you can never have too many candles and for Christmas I received this copper based candle from one of my favourite stores of all time Anthroplogie. The relaxing vanilla smell makes it the perfect candle to wind down too in the evenings. Another one of my favourite scents is the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne, it reminds me of being on a windswept beach back home in the South West.
Like everyone I have slight addiction to cactuses in cute pots and have recently added these two beauties to my collection. Both picked up from Kew Gardens,I love the decorative concrete pots. They sit really well next to a grey and pink vase picked up from House Doctor a Danish online interior store, selling unique and minimalist Scandi inspired products for the home. I can quite easily spend hours scrolling through their online catalogue!
I have enjoyed making my desk space a little more Scandi this January, there is something very satisfying about having a good old fashioned sort out and embracing the minimalist vibe with a couple of cute cactuses and a little bit of copper.
