One of my favourite colour combos at the moment for is Pink and Green, in interiors especially I love the softness of powder pink against the intensity of Dark Green. This combination of Pink and Green decor can really help to add a touch of femininity to a room, as well as look super striking. The trend for these two colours together continues well into 2018 and therefore for Februarys colour inspiration I have pulled together some of my favourite pink and green images on Pinterest now. I love the pale pink tiles used in the kitchen below as well as the deep green of the cactuses against the powder pink wall.
There are so many homeware products now available in a variety of different shades, it has never been easier to bring these two colours together in the home. Either as a complete colour scheme or as finishing touches in a more neutral environment. As much as I would love to re create the below palm wallpaper in my room however I do not think my landlord would be to impressed…! which is why I have opted for the most easiest way to introduce this colour palette into your home through the rich greens of various house plants and palms with cushions and decorative pieces in a softer powder pink. I am working my way towards one day having a velvet dusky pink sofa!
Some of my favourite green and pink inspired pieces include a powder pink concrete vase from House Doctor and greenery in the form of super cute cactuses in recycled Diptyque candle jars. Through Birchbox I am now the proud owner of the loveliest pale pink make up brushes that sit so nicely with my all time favourite green lipstick from Lipstick Queen which turns fairy tale rose depending on the wearers natural colouring.
