The Mother’s Day Edit

With Mothers Day just around the corner (10 days in fact!) Olive and I have put together a Mothers Day gift guide featuring some of are favourite and inspirational brands who create some really lovely sustainable and ethical products. From beautiful natural skincare by Evolve Beauty to gorgeous handcrafted home accessories at Nkuku there really is something for every Mum to enjoy.

Evolve Beauty
Treat your mum to Evolve Beauty’s  natural skincare range. Handmade in Hertfordshire, every skincare product produced is vegan as well as eco friendly by using only natural oils, butters and extracts. Producing small batches of skincare means the products are fresher when you go to open the bottle yourself. With uplifting scents, super soft textures and effective results there is no wonder why Evolve Beauty is a firm favourite of ours. Try the True Balance Lotion, a matterfying moisturiser for balanced skin.

Earl of East London
Earl of East London launched in 2015 by two best friends who were inspired to create a collection of hand poured candles. Fast forward a few years and their original collection of candles has now grown to include ceramics, chocolates and leather accessories. Blanche and I can never resist a candle especially one produced by hand in the city of London. The range now features 7 signature secrets with our favourite being a scent called Strand. Inspired by the lovely city of Copenhagen this scent features madarin, seaweed, birch wood and bay leaf.

Nkuku is a beautiful homeware website stocking a wide range of handmade pieces created by artisans all over the world. Using only sustainable materials and traditional skills. There is a wide range of individual home accessories to choose from all inspired by their founding values of ethical, eco friendly and handmade. I don’t know about you but we are still plant and cactus obsessed which is why we love Nkuku‘s lovely selection of planters, pots and terrariums.

Organic Blooms

Treat your mum to a beautiful bouquet of hand tied flowers by the lovely people at Organic Blooms who grow and sell British cut flowers. Based in the south west Organic Blooms grow all of there flowers sustainably without using any artificial chemicals as well as supporting the local community through workshops and tutorials. Olive and I can never resist a pretty bouquet of flowers and just love these pink tulips.
