Bath is one of our all time favourite cities: filled with honey stone town houses, lots of lovely independent cafes and restaurants and of course the amazing natural thermal hot springs. Strolling through the Georgian cobbled streets you feel like you have stepped straight into a period drama with the famous Royal Crescent being a must see as well as the beautiful Pulteney Bridge lined with cute shops and cafes. From our recent trip to this rather pretty city, Olive and I have put together a guide of some our favourite eating and drinking spots, stores to visit as well as lots of lovely things to see and do.
It’s official lavender season and what better way to spend these summer months than strolling through a sea purple. Last Sunday Blanch and I did exactly that at the lovely Lavender Farm in Somerset. Located just outside Tavistock, the farm has over 5 acres of lavender with 20 different varieties. A huge 50,000 lavender plants make up these beautiful fields that are the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday strolling through.
