Autumn is one of my favourite times to head to the coast; it is still light enough to make the most of your day but also cold enough to wrap up warm in as many cosy layers as possible and spend the evening curled up in front of a log fire. There are so many beautiful parts of the British coast but being Devon girls we are a little partial to that particular county and they do do a great cream tea too- if we say so ourselves!
North Devon has long been one our favourite places in the South West, surrounded by childhood memories of building sandcastles on Putsbourgh sands, summer beach side BBQs and camping trips with friends. It will always be know as our ‘happy place’ which is why we are now super lucky to have a beach hideaway of our own tucked behind the sand dunes of Croyde bay, North Devon. This is where we like to escape too when the London busyness gets a little bit too much, for that much needed sea air, coastal strolls and endless cream teas!
