Tropics Skincare

Olive and I cannot begin to tell you how obsessed we are with a skincare brand called Tropics at the moment. First introduced to us by a good friend and incidentally a Tropics Skin Care Ambassador (check out her fab Instagram page here)  we very quickly became hooked on their amazing skincare products.

We love the fact that all of Tropics  skincare and beauty products are always 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free. Even better Tropics only use pure ingredients in their products that are free from harmful toxic chemicals and always include a ‘best before’ date ensuring you are always applying the freshest ingredients to your skin.

One of the many reasons why we love Tropics so much is that they are never test their products on animals or cause them distress by using products such as lanolin or beeswax which you see in so many other beauty brands. To our surprise lanolin is actually used pretty much widespread in the beauty industry at particularly in body creams, produced by the glands of wool bearing animals, lanolin can actually irritate the skin and cause an allergic reaction in quite a few people.

Tropics have a extensive range of really great skin care and beauty products and one in particular their ABC range is an multi award winning essentials range for the skin. Including a luscious smoothing cleanser that blends uplifting eucalyptus and avocado oils to melt away make up and impurities to leave your skin feeling unbelievably soft and clean. Using this twice a day and washing away with a bamboo cloth we were amazed how soft and smooth our skin felt after only a couple of uses.

After the cleanser follow up with Tropics oh so refreshing vitamin toner bursting full of organic rose water, aloe Vera and cucumber juices this toner helps to balance the skins ph and reduce pore size. Olive and I love the spritz function as it leaves your skin feeling so refreshed especially first thing in the morning!

Last but not least finish your skincare routine with a super nourishing day cream called Skin Feast. This daily moisturising cream is packed full of over 20 skin loving plant and flower extracts leaving your skin feeling super smooth and nourished.

Olive and I have been using the ABC range for over a month now and are already super pleased with the results, we have always suffered with acne prone skin and have struggled to find the right beauty products that suit our skin. The natural ingredients in Tropics skin care reduces redness and helps to manage breakouts successfully. We cannot wait to start trying some of the other tropics products including their fab face masks and lovely make up range.
